Day 1: Venice

Day 2: Venetian Islands

This tour will allow you to visit three hidden jewels going off the beaten path. Let’s start with Scala Contarini del Bovolo at Palazzo Contarini, the most graceful and valuable spiral staircase building in Venice. This real rarity that take its name from the venetian word “bovolo” (snail), is a perfect mix of different architectural styles. It was commissioned by the owner of the Palace at the end of XV century with the purpose of enhancing the prestige of his family. You will have the chance to explore the stairs climbing its 80 steps and admire a breathtaking view on Venetian roofs. The visit continue with a pleasant walk that will lead you to the second jewel: The Derelitti complex, known as Ospedaletto. This complex was built on the area originally occupied by a hastily built shelter that offered assistance to sick, poor, pilgrims and orphan. Here you will visit the Church of Santa Maria dei Derelitti, the four seasons’ courtyard and the Sala della Musica. Another stroll through Venice narrow streets will take you to the last jewel of our tour: the Oratorio dei Crociferi. This small oratory, that is part of a very simple medieval building used as shelter, is decorated chamber which features a series of paintings realized by Jacopo Palma by the end of the 16th Century. Day 5: Papal Audience

The private visit Good Morning Vatican Museums takes place exclusively before the opening hours of the Vatican Museums to the public for approximately an hour and a half and permits the visitors to perform with the “clavigero” or key holder of the Museums the solemn rite of opening the doors.
